In our October newsletter we started a new column, Grandma's Advice, in which we can share advice that was passed along from our Grandmothers.
To kick things off, Marlene DeBoard shares the advice she learned from her Grandmother Anna Margaret Ludlow Estell.
"It's the little things that bind you and put you on the rack. You can sit upon a mountain but you can't sit on a tack."
Anna was born in 1884 and passed away in 1960. She married William Estell in 1901. They had 6 daughters, only 3 living to adulthood, and one adopted son.
Please share some information about and advice from your grandmother by leaving a message in the comment section below!
